It's been so long since I've been on here, even longer since I've posted something. I've been having a pretty decent time and my summer is beginning to wind down. College will be starting up again soon and I'm moving into my apartment on the 19th of this month. It's a little scary and overwhelming but also intensely exciting all at the same time! I can't wait to have my own place with Lina. :)
I've been staying active like crazy and I pretty much learned that if I'm exercising my body just craves healthy foods so I guess that's good. I mostly do it just to keep my dad from getting on my back for being lazy. After a while of listening to him criticize my poor eating habits and calling me fat, I just get fed up with him. He makes me feel ashamed of my body and it's so sad. Sometimes in those moments I wonder if I have ever gotten over my body image issues then have to remind myself that he is the one putting those thoughts into my head and not me. I can't beat myself up for something that is his problem. I'm sure he only does it out of love because he doesn't want me to be the one with the diabetes later in life. I just dance until my little lungs give out and I'm too tired to even think about those draining thoughts. My main form of working out has been dancing. At least twice a week I go to Chicago for ballet classes at Joffrey and the rest of the days I take Zumba, Salsa Funk, and/or Street Vybe classes at Lifetime. Who knew being active could be so much fun?!
On another note I have a little beauty update. I have added some of the Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman brushes to my collection. I'm super stoked to try them out because the quality seem phenomenal and the set was totally affordable. I bought the Core Collection at Ulta with the orange ferule. I will need to post a review-torial with them. I was so eager to see what they were like that I opened the package in the car. So soft! HAHA!!!! Big love to Sam, Nic, and their channel Pixiwoo.
