Greenster

so yeah. pretty much yesterday during the dress rehearsal i was a teary eyed mess. Mr. Green was conducting sitting on a stool with his sister behind him holding him up. She was weeping uncontrallably. It was a sad site to see but in its own way is was beautiful. It warmed my heart looking at him. He had this very happy aura about him. So calm and peaceful. From what i heard he's a totally different person. He spends much of his time looking out the window in the hospital.

So today during choir we wrote little notes on a paper that we're gonna put in his music binder for tomorrow. I hope he doesn't cry when he reads those. =)

Get well soon Mr. Green. We love you.

update 9/29/09

=P I just looked at my September ACT scores. 28 for composite. =( its lower than what i got in like June. Oh well...
I have to be at school again for a choir dress rehearsal. The actual performance is on Thursday. I think we have to step up the game, but this should be fun. Our choir director Mr. Green is out. So our teacher assistant Mrs. Sperling is taking over. He has brain cancer and this new medication is keeping him out sick. The steroids are making it hard for him to use his facial muscles and its hard for him to talk. It's so sad. He's only in his mid-thirties. He's too young for this. Mr. Green's family and the hospital are going to do everything in their power to get him here tonight for the rehearsal. He's in a wheelchair.
Gosh I love Mr. Green as a second father. He is really inspiring. He fights so hard for us. He loves doing what he does and loves us too. I hope he gets better. I'll keep you up to date.

~Peace!~
